Our analysis

On a desk 90 cm wide, this pad runs edge to edge at 900 × 400 mm; the Razer Gigantus V2 XXL needs 940 × 410 mm and adds a millimeter of foam, 4 mm against 3. The choice comes down to how much desk you have, before any question of surface.

What stands out

• A surface tuned for Logitech G sensors. Logitech says the texture gives the sensor the imagery it needs to track consistently, even at high speeds.
• Moderate surface friction. In Logitech's words, enough friction to feel the mouse move, for both fast flicks and slow, controlled aim.
• A 3 mm build. Between the 2 mm SteelSeries QcK XXL and the 4 mm Gigantus V2 XXL in thickness.
• Rubber base. Logitech says it stays in place during play.

Where it falls short

• At 3 mm there is less foam between the mouse and the desk than on a 4 mm pad, so it does less to even out a surface that is not flat.
• Logitech rates its surface at moderate friction, so players who want a speed cloth should look at a low-friction pad.

Look elsewhere if

You want the same 900 × 400 mm size from another maker: the SteelSeries QcK XXL uses a micro-woven cloth at 2 mm. If you flick at low sensitivity and want speed, the Razer Gigantus V2 Pro is Razer's low-friction Speed cloth, with low-profile stitched edges.
