Corsair MM PRO Control (medium, control cloth)

Our analysis

Twice the thickness of the SteelSeries QcK Large: 4 mm against 2 mm, with a control-rated cloth where the QcK uses micro-woven cloth. Which one fits depends on how you aim. Corsair rates this surface for control, the side of the scale that favors small, precise wrist movements at medium or high sensitivity; if you swing your arm across the pad, look at a speed surface instead.

What stands out

• Esports control cloth. Corsair rates the textured weave for control rather than speed.
• 4 mm thick. Double the 2 mm of the QcK Large, so it cushions an uneven desk under the arm.
• Sloped stitched edges. A finished, angled edge on the side your wrist rests on.
• Hand-washable, with a hex-pattern polyurethane base. You can clean the cloth instead of replacing the pad.

Where it falls short

• If you play on low sensitivity and flick across the pad, a control surface works against that style; a speed surface fits it better.
• It is a medium pad meant for the mouse alone, and our spec sheet does not list its exact dimensions. No RGB.

Look elsewhere if

• You aim with big arm movements: the Razer Gigantus V2 Pro Soft Esports is a speed-rated cloth over 500 × 480 mm at the same 4 mm thickness. If you want the keyboard and mouse on one surface, the SteelSeries QcK XXL covers 900 × 400 mm.
