SteelSeries QcK XXL - Cloth Gaming Mouse Pad (35.4 x 15.7 in)

Our analysis

Same 900 × 400 mm as the Logitech G840 XL, one millimeter thinner: 2 mm here against 3 mm. With the footprint identical, the surface is what you are choosing between: SteelSeries' micro-woven cloth on this one, a cloth Logitech says it tunes for its G sensors on the G840.

What stands out

• Micro-woven cloth. The same surface material SteelSeries uses on the smaller QcK Large.
• 900 × 400 mm. Keyboard and mouse share one surface, with room for a wide swing at low sensitivity.
• 2 mm thick. Half the thickness of the 4 mm Gigantus V2 XXL.
• Non-slip rubber base. Listed on its spec sheet, so the pad is made to stay put on the desk.

Where it falls short

It has no RGB if you want your desk to glow, and at 900 mm wide it needs a desk at least that wide to lie flat. At 2 mm there is little foam to even out a desk that is not flat.

Look elsewhere if

Your desk only has room for the mouse: the QcK Large uses the same micro-woven cloth at 450 x 400 mm. If you flick at low sensitivity and want a faster surface, the Razer Gigantus V2 Pro Soft uses Razer’s Speed cloth, at 500 x 480 mm with low-profile stitched edges.
