How I work, in plain terms
- Every guide is built from two sources: the manufacturer’s published specifications and the price band I keep in the catalog. When a claim comes from one of those, I say so.
- I do not run a hardware lab or bench-test products, and I will not pretend otherwise. The opinion is mine, but it rests on the manufacturer’s spec sheet and, when there are performance figures, on an outlet I name.
- Recommendations are picked before affiliate links are added, never the other way round. A product does not get recommended for paying more commission — the rate is the same across almost everything I cover.
- Prices change constantly. That is why the guides never quote Amazon’s price: they show the price band from the catalog, which I review and which updates in every guide on its own, and the date of the last review sits at the top of every article.
- When I get something wrong, I fix the article and the update date changes with it.
- I write every guide with the help of AI tools for research and drafting; I decide which products make the cut, check every figure against the manufacturer’s spec sheet and the price on the day I verify it, and sign the text. — Samuel
How this site makes money
GamersConnected is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. When you buy through one of the links on this site I earn a small commission, at no extra cost to you. That commission does not change which products I recommend or the order they appear in. Some pages also carry display advertising.
