Antec C8 ARGB PC case (black), front view

Our verdict

A showpiece case: dual chamber, frameless front and side glass that hides every cable, three ARGB fans (two of them 160 mm reverse) and room for 360 mm radiators on three sides at once. You pay for layout and finish, not degrees, so buy it if the PC sits where you look at it.

Our analysis

Same maker, opposite idea: the Antec P7 S closes its side with a solid panel lined with sound-dampening foam and ships four fans, where the C8 opens glass on the front and the side and ships three. The P7 S stops at ATX boards and 405 mm graphics cards; the C8 takes E-ATX boards up to 280 mm and cards up to 440 mm. Glass and room on one side, a closed box and one more fan on the other.

What stands out

  • Three ARGB PWM fans included. Two 160 mm Tranquil Reverse fans at the bottom and one standard 140 mm Tranquil fan at the rear. Antec shapes the reverse blades to look right from behind, which is the side you see once fans go in the floor of the case.
  • 360 mm radiators on three sides at once. Top, bottom and side can each hold a 360 mm radiator, which gives a big liquid cooling setup plenty of placement options.
  • A fully open floor. The bottom is one large cutout with swappable brackets for 120 or 140 mm fans, so you pick the size that matches the fans you already own.
  • Cables out of sight by design. The second chamber is where the wiring lives, which keeps the glass view clean.

Where it falls short

  • You pay for layout and finish, not for lower temperatures. If the tower lives under the desk, that money buys something you will not see.
  • It holds up to six drives (two 3.5-inch and four 2.5-inch), fewer than the eight of the Lian Li Lancool 216.

Look elsewhere if

  • Temperatures matter more to you than the view: the Montech Air 903 Max has a mesh front, four fans included and E-ATX support, and it is the case in our value build. If you want two big fans pulling air through the front, the Lian Li Lancool 216 puts two 160 mm fans behind a mesh front.

We line it up against the other cases in Gaming PC Case 2026: Follow the Air, Not the Glass.
