Our verdict
The multiplatform entry pick: one wireless headset for PS5, PS4, Switch and PC, with 80 hours of battery and a flip-to-mute mic. It has no Xbox link; for that, the Stealth 700 Gen 3 adds a second transmitter.
Our analysis
Its bigger sibling, the Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 3, has the same 80-hour battery rating and the same flip-to-mute mic with AI noise reduction. The Stealth 600 has 50 mm drivers against 60 mm and no Xbox link: it pairs with a PS5, a PS4, a Switch and a PC, so one headset moves between those machines instead of one per platform. It is our entry pick for console players.
What stands out
- Two ways to connect. It lists both 2.4 GHz wireless and Bluetooth 5.2, so you are not tied to a single type of link.
- 80 hours of battery. At three hours a night, that is close to a month between charges, so the cable mostly stays in the drawer.
- A flip-to-mute mic with AI noise reduction. Raise the boom and you are muted, with no button to hunt for mid-match, while the noise reduction is there to keep a loud living room out of party chat.
- 50 mm drivers, an amplified mode and app EQ presets. You can change the sound from Turtle Beach's app instead of living with one tuning.
Where it falls short
- No Xbox: this version covers PlayStation, Switch and PC. For an Xbox in the house, the Stealth 700 Gen 3 adds a second transmitter.
- If you only play on PC, the multiplatform link is something you would not use.
Look elsewhere if
- You hate charging above everything else: the HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless is rated up to 300 hours and has a detachable mic, although its spec sheet lists only a 2.4 GHz dongle, no Bluetooth. If you play competitive shooters mostly on PC, the Razer BlackShark V2 Pro is the PC esports pick in our ranking and keeps Bluetooth.
We rank it against the rest in wireless gaming headsets at every budget and in the 5 best gaming headsets of 2026.
