Our verdict
The entry point to NVIDIA’s RTX 50 line: DLSS 4, 130 W and a 550 W power supply, in a 200 mm two-slot card. Its 8 GB of VRAM is the limit to watch with heavy texture settings; for 16 GB, look at the RX 9060 XT.
Our analysis
Half the memory of the ASUS Dual RTX 5060 Ti 16GB, in a smaller card: 8 GB of GDDR6 against 16 GB of GDDR7, 130 W against 180 W, 200 mm and two slots against 229 mm and 2.5. Both list a 550 W power supply and DLSS 4, so the choice comes down to how much video memory your games ask for and how much room the case has.
What stands out
- DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation. The same upscaling NVIDIA puts on the rest of the RTX 50 line, in games that support it.
- 130 W and a 550 W recommendation. PNY's figures, low enough for a mid-range power supply.
- 200 mm, two slots. A short dual-fan card that fits most mid-towers; check your case's GPU length anyway.
- Three DisplayPort 2.1b plus HDMI 2.1b. Current outputs for a high-refresh monitor.
Where it falls short
- 8 GB of GDDR6 on a 128-bit bus: games whose texture settings ask for more than 8 GB of video memory need those settings lowered.
- It is the entry card of the RTX 50 desktop line, so which resolution it suits depends on the game; our graphics card guide maps that with its sources.
Look elsewhere if
You want more from the same power supply: the GIGABYTE RTX 5060 WINDFORCE moves to GDDR7 at 145 W, still on 550 W. If video memory is your worry, the ASRock RX 9060 XT 16GB doubles it to 16 GB.
