Our verdict
Our pick for a high refresh 1440p monitor: 12 GB of GDDR7, DLSS 4 and SFF-Ready for compact cases. Its weak spot is 12 GB of VRAM; for 16 GB, look at the RTX 5070 Ti.
Our analysis
Four gigabytes less video memory than the ASUS Prime RX 9070 XT, 12 GB of GDDR7 against 16 GB of GDDR6, and 54 W less power, 250 W against 304 W, with ASUS recommending a 750 W supply for both. The 5070 is also certified SFF-Ready at 304 mm against 312 mm, and brings DLSS 4 where the Radeon has FSR 4.
What stands out
- DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation. NVIDIA's RTX 50 feature, in the games that support it; in NVIDIA's lineup this card sits right below the 5070 Ti.
- SFF-Ready. ASUS certifies this Prime model for small form factor cases. The spec sheet lists 304 mm and 2.5 slots, so it is still worth measuring a tight case.
- 12 GB of GDDR7. The newer memory type, against GDDR6 on the Radeon.
- Three DisplayPort 2.1b plus HDMI 2.1b. Room for a multi-monitor desk without adapters.
Where it falls short
- 12 GB of VRAM: games whose texture settings ask for more than 12 GB of video memory need them lowered, while the 5070 Ti and the RX 9070 XT carry 16.
- ASUS asks for a 750 W power supply, against the 550 W it recommends for the Dual RTX 5060 Ti, and it uses one 16-pin connector.
Look elsewhere if
You want 16 GB: the RTX 5070 Ti moves to 16 GB of GDDR7 on the same 750 W supply. If you want to stay on a 550 W supply, the RTX 5060 Ti 16GB has more memory at a lower power rating.
All six cards are compared in the best graphics cards for gaming in 2026. If you play on a high refresh 1440p monitor and want DLSS 4, this is our pick.
