Our verdict
A spec sheet built for competitive play: HERO 2 sensor, 8000 Hz polling and haptic triggers whose actuation you can tune. It is one of the priciest mice we recommend.
Our analysis
Eight times the polling rate of Logitech's own G305, 8000 Hz against 1000, on a symmetrical shape like the G305's. The trade is power: the G305 runs on one AA battery for up to 250 hours, while this one uses a rechargeable battery rated for 90, with the HERO 2 sensor at up to 44 000 DPI against 12 000.
What stands out
- Adjustable haptic triggers. Instead of a fixed mechanical switch, Logitech lets you set how each click actuates in its software.
- HERO 2 sensor with 8000 Hz polling. The mouse reports its position far more often than a standard 1000 Hz model, so your cursor tracks your hand with less delay.
- Symmetrical, ultralight shape on extra-large UHMWPE feet. The neutral form suits many grips, and the ultralight build is made for fast flicks.
- LIGHTSPEED wireless plus USB-C. No cable dragging across the pad while you aim, and a wired option for when you need one.
Where it falls short
- It sits at the premium end of the price range.
- Battery is rated at 90 hours, less than the 95 of the Superlight 2 and well below the 180 of the Razer Viper V4 Pro.
Look elsewhere if
You want a proven ultralight without the premium: the Logitech G PRO X Superlight 2 shares the HERO 2 sensor and 8000 Hz polling at 60 g, and for most competitive players it is still the smarter buy. If battery and minimal weight come first, the Razer Viper V4 Pro weighs about 49 g and is rated for up to 180 hours.
It leads our comparison of the best gaming mice, where you can see how it stacks up against the rest of the list.
