Logitech G PRO X Superlight 2 wireless mouse, top view

Our verdict

The classic ultralight: 60 g, HERO 2 sensor, 8000 Hz polling and a neutral symmetrical shape. The SUPERSTRIKE adds tunable haptic clicks; this one keeps LIGHTFORCE switches and 95 hours of battery.

Our analysis

The Logitech PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE shares its HERO 2 sensor, 8000 Hz polling and LIGHTSPEED link, so the difference is in the buttons: the SUPERSTRIKE adds tunable haptic clicks, the Superlight 2 keeps LIGHTFORCE hybrid switches and a rating of 95 hours against 90. The Superlight 2 weighs 60 g, for competitive shooter players who want a light, symmetrical shell and nothing they will not use.

What stands out

  • 60 g. Less mass to start and stop on every flick, which is where a light mouse matters in shooters.
  • Symmetrical shape. The same shape on both sides, a neutral starting point if you are buying without trying it first.
  • HERO 2 sensor with 8000 Hz polling. Up to 44000 DPI and up to 8000 reports per second, the pairing for a high-refresh monitor.
  • 95 hours of battery over LIGHTSPEED. Logitech's rating, with USB-C when you need it, plus LIGHTFORCE hybrid switches and zero-additive PTFE feet.

Where it falls short

  • It has five buttons and nothing more, so MMO players who want a row of macros under the thumb will run out fast.
  • It skips the tunable haptic clicks of the SUPERSTRIKE.
  • Outside shooters its low weight matters less; for everything else, the G305 covers it.

Look elsewhere if

  • You play MMOs or MOBAs and want a button for every ability: the Logitech G502 X Plus has 13 programmable controls. If you want to go lighter still, the Razer Viper V4 Pro weighs about 49 g and lists up to 180 hours of battery; between the two, pick by the shape that fits your hand.
