Our verdict
A large sensor behind an f/1.7 lens, 4K and three stream modes up to 1080p60, in a webcam. It costs about what an entry camera does, so it is for full-time creators; for a game stream at 1080p60, the Facecam MK.2 covers that for less.
Our analysis
Twice the frame rate at 1080p is where the gap with the Logitech C920S HD Pro starts: 60 fps against 30, and the Kiyo Pro Ultra adds 4K, HDR at 30 fps and an 82° field of view against 78°. Both have autofocus, a built-in mic and a privacy shutter, so the money here goes to the sensor and the resolution, not to the basics.
What stands out
- A large sensor behind an f/1.7 lens. Razer lists a 1/1.2-inch sensor, which it bills as the largest put in a webcam; a bigger sensor and a wider aperture both collect more light from the same room.
- Three stream modes. 4K at 24 fps, 1440p at 30 fps or 1080p at 60 fps, so you choose between resolution and frame rate.
- Face-tracking autofocus and an 82° field of view. Focus follows your face as you lean in and out, and the frame is wide enough for a desk shot.
- Built-in mic and privacy shutter. A backup mic if your main one fails, and a physical cover for when the camera is off.
Where it falls short
- It costs about what an entry camera does, so it only pays off if you spend a lot of your working day on camera.
- 4K streaming tops out at 24 fps and HDR works only at 30 fps, so a game stream at 60 fps runs at 1080p, where the extra resolution does not apply.
Look elsewhere if
- You stream games and mainly need 1080p60 with manual control: the Elgato Facecam MK.2 is built around that. If you move around or teach on camera, the Insta360 Link 2 uses a motorized gimbal with AI tracking to keep you in frame, with 4K and HDR.
We rank it against the other three in the 4 best streaming webcams of 2026.
