Insta360 Link 2 (4K PTZ with AI tracking)

Our analysis

The Razer Kiyo Pro Ultra is also a 4K webcam built around a large sensor, but it stays put on your monitor. The Link 2 puts its 1/2-inch sensor on a motorized gimbal with AI tracking, so the camera turns to follow you when you stand, lean back or walk to a whiteboard. A plain video call will not use most of that; creators who move around, teach or record on camera will. It is our overall webcam pick for 2026.

What stands out

• 1/2-inch sensor at 4K. Bigger than the 1/2.5-inch sensor the Facecam MK.2 lists.
• PTZ gimbal with AI tracking. The camera pans and tilts on its own to keep you in frame, so you stop checking if you are still in the shot.
• Gesture zoom and HDR. You zoom with a hand signal, and HDR is there for a window or a lamp that would otherwise blow out the picture.
• Phase-detection autofocus and an AI noise-canceling mic. The autofocus type is listed as PDAF, and the built-in mic uses AI to cut background noise on calls.

Where it falls short

• For calls or a static stream, the gimbal and tracking go unused.
• Its spec sheet caps 4K at 30 fps; 60 fps is available at 1080p and below, so if smooth motion is your top priority, plan on streaming at 1080p60.

Look elsewhere if

• You only need a clean camera for classes and calls: the Logitech C920S covers 1080p at 30 fps with autofocus, stereo mics and a privacy shutter. If you stream seated and do not need tracking, the Elgato Facecam MK.2 runs 1080p60, uncompressed over USB 3.0, with manual image control.

It is first in our four best streaming webcams of 2026, and every model we list is in the webcams category.
