Logitech C920S HD Pro (1080p30, privacy shutter)

Our analysis

No separate microphone yet? This camera has two stereo mics and autofocus, and the Elgato Facecam MK.2 has neither: it focuses at a fixed 30 to 120 cm and leaves the sound to a mic you already own. So the C920S covers picture and voice with one USB cable, while the Facecam belongs on a desk that is already built around a microphone.

What stands out

• 1080p at 30 fps. Full HD at the frame rate most video calls and classes use.
• Autofocus. The lens adjusts on its own when you move, so there is no focus setting to touch before a class or an interview.
• Dual stereo mics. A call works without a separate microphone.
• Monitor clip and physical privacy shutter. It takes no desk space, and in a shared room you can cover the lens and know it is covered.

Where it falls short

It stops at 30 fps, half the frame rate of a 60 fps camera. There is no HDR in its spec sheet, and its 78-degree field of view is narrower than the 82 degrees of the Razer Kiyo Pro Ultra, so fitting two people in the frame is harder.

Look elsewhere if

You stream regularly and want smoother motion: the Elgato Facecam MK.2 runs 1080p at 60 fps and adds HDR at 1080p30. If you move around on camera or record content, the Insta360 Link 2 steps up to 4K and a gimbal that tracks you.

It is the budget pick in our four best streaming webcams of 2026, and the webcam in our small-room gaming setup.
