Our verdict
A mid-range chair with the lumbar curve built into the backrest, high-density foam and 152° of recline, rated for 136 kg. Pick it if your lower back already complains after a session; the armrests are 2D, so fine-tuning is more limited than on premium chairs.
Our analysis
Both this and the GTPLAYER with Footrest are rated for 136 kg, and the backrest is what separates them: the Iskur V2 X builds its lumbar curve into the frame, where the GTPLAYER relies on a loose pillow, and it reclines to 152° against 135°, with 2D armrests instead of armrests that only tilt with the backrest. It is a mid-range chair for people whose lower back is already the problem.
What stands out
- Built-in lumbar support. The curve is part of the backrest, so it is there every time you sit down instead of depending on a pillow that slides around.
- 152° of recline. More than the 135° of both GTPLAYER chairs, handy if you lean back between rounds or watch videos from the same seat.
- A wide fit range. Razer rates it for users from 160 to 200 cm and up to 136 kg.
- EPU leather over high-density foam. Razer's CoolTouch upholstery over a dense foam base.
Where it falls short
- The armrests are 2D, so you position them with less precision than the magnetic 4D armrests on the Secretlab Titan Evo.
- The Titan also offers lumbar support adjustable in four directions, while the Iskur V2 X spec sheet lists its lumbar support only as built-in. If the curve matches your back, great; if it does not, there is little to tweak.
Look elsewhere if
- You sit six hours or more a day and want to fine-tune every contact point: the Secretlab Titan Evo is the step up, with 4D armrests and 165° of recline. If your room runs hot and you prefer a wide seat, the Corsair TC100 Relaxed swaps leatherette for breathable fabric.
We rank it against the other chairs in our best gaming chairs guide, and our ergonomics guide for long sessions explains why constant lumbar support matters so much once your back starts complaining.
