Our verdict
The chair for hot rooms and anyone who dislikes faux leather: breathable fabric, a 54 cm wide seat and lumbar and neck pillows in the box. The lumbar support is a pillow, not built in, and it is rated for 120 kg.
Our analysis
Next to the Secretlab Titan Evo, the TC100 Relaxed trades leatherette for breathable fabric and built-in lumbar support for an adjustable pillow, with 2D armrests against 4D and a 120 kg rating against 129. Corsair lists a wide seat, 54 cm across, hence the Relaxed name. It is the fabric chair in our lineup, built for warm rooms and for anyone who dislikes faux leather.
What stands out
- Breathable fabric upholstery. Fabric lets air through where leatherette does not, the usual complaint with leatherette chairs in a hot climate.
- A wide, relaxed seat. Corsair lists 50 × 54 cm (depth × width), room to shift position over a long session.
- Lumbar and neck pillows in the box. Both come included, so you do not buy support separately, and the lumbar pillow is adjustable.
- Adjustable armrests. You can bring them to your desk height instead of living with fixed ones.
Where it falls short
- The lumbar support is a pillow, not part of the backrest, so it can shift out of place.
- It is rated for 120 kg, below the 136 kg of the Razer Iskur V2 X and both GTPLAYER chairs.
Look elsewhere if
- Your lower back already hurts after playing: the Razer Iskur V2 X has its lumbar curve built into the backrest and 152° of recline. If you are a bigger player and want a soft seat, the GTPLAYER Big & Tall brings a wide spring seat and a 136 kg rating.
The measurements Corsair lists
Corsair gives a seat of 50 × 54 cm (depth × width) and a backrest 79 cm tall and 59.5 cm across the shoulders, which is where the Relaxed name comes from. The seat moves from 45 to 55 cm high on a Class 4 gas lift, the 2D armrests sit between 61 and 68 cm, and the back reclines from 90 to 160°. The seat foam is listed at 30 kg/m³, the rated load is 120 kg and the warranty is 2 years. Measure your desk height against those armrest figures before you buy.
It is our fabric pick in the best gaming chairs guide, and it also appears in our ergonomics guide for long sessions as the mid-price option.
