Among the four that publish a weight, the spread is 103 g, from 236 g on the G535 to 339 g on the Nova Pro Omni. And on the makers' own ratings, the Cloud Alpha Wireless's 300 hours are 3.75 times the Stealth 600's 80, the next longest single battery here. Only one of the five, the Nova Pro Omni, lists active noise cancelling.

1. SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Omni — every platform, with noise cancelling

The Arctis Nova Pro Omni is the headset for a desk where a PC, a console and a phone all need audio: SteelSeries lists PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Switch and Switch 2, Mac and phones, and says you can hear more than one source at once through its GameHub. It is also the only one of the five with active noise cancelling, plus a transparency mode. Against the Razer BlackShark V2 Pro, what decides it is noise cancelling, which Razer does not list, and the longer platform list, Switch and Switch 2 included. Skip it if you play on one system and want the lightest headset: at 339 g it is the heaviest of the four that publish a weight. Its limit: each battery is rated for up to 30 hours (2.4 GHz, noise cancelling off), so the swap is part of the routine; SteelSeries says the spare charges in the GameHub while you use the other, in the [banda:B0GS77JQLF] band.

[producto:PRD-000019]

2. Razer BlackShark V2 Pro — PC and PlayStation, detachable mic

The BlackShark V2 Pro is for someone who plays on PC or PlayStation and talks to a team, in the [banda:B0BY1FXC9N] band. Razer lists 320 g, up to 70 hours of battery, 2.4 GHz or Bluetooth 5.2 with a button to switch (SmartSwitch), and a detachable HyperClear Super Wideband microphone. Against the Logitech G535, the number is battery: 70 hours against 33, for 84 g more on your head (320 g against 236 g). Skip it if you want noise cancelling, which only the Nova Pro Omni has. Its limit: with no active noise cancelling, blocking out a noisy room depends on the earcups alone.

[producto:PRD-000020]

3. HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless — 300 hours, PC only

The battery is the reason to buy the Cloud Alpha Wireless: HyperX rates it for up to 300 hours at 50% volume, and lists a 4.5 hour charge, 50 mm drivers and a detachable noise-cancelling microphone, in the [banda:B09TRW57WB] band. Against the Turtle Beach Stealth 600, it lasts 220 hours longer on paper (300 against 80) but HyperX lists only PC, while the Stealth 600 also works on PS5 and PS4. Skip it if you play on a console. Its limit: a single 2.4 GHz connection through its USB adapter, with no Bluetooth listed for phones.

[producto:PRD-000021]

4. Logitech G535 Lightspeed — the lightest with a published weight

At 236 g, according to Logitech, the G535 is the lightest of the four headsets that publish a weight, and Logitech pairs that with a suspension headband and memory foam earcups. It connects to PC and PlayStation through a USB receiver, with up to 33 hours at 50% volume and a flip-to-mute microphone, in the [banda:B08KY2WFGP] band. Against the BlackShark V2 Pro, you trade battery for weight: 33 hours against 70, for 84 g less. Skip it if you want Bluetooth for a phone or a detachable mic. Its limit: 33 hours is the shortest battery in the table, so it is a charge every few days for daily play.

[producto:PRD-000022]

5. Turtle Beach Stealth 600 — PS5 and PC, with Bluetooth

The Stealth 600 version we link is the one for PS5 and PC: Turtle Beach lists PS5, PS4, PC and Bluetooth devices, 2.4 GHz or Bluetooth 5.2 with a button to switch between them, up to 80 hours of battery, 50 mm drivers and a flip-to-mute mic with AI noise reduction, in the [banda:B0CYWD9PSM] band. Against the Cloud Alpha Wireless, it is the one that works on PlayStation, with 220 fewer hours of rated battery. Skip it if you play on Xbox: Turtle Beach sells a separate Xbox version. Its limit: game and phone audio do not play together; Turtle Beach describes a button that switches between 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth.

[producto:PRD-000023]

The headset I would put on

Several systems and a noisy room: the Arctis Nova Pro Omni. A PC and as few charges as possible: the Cloud Alpha Wireless. And if you are building the full setup, check our guide to the best gaming keyboards of 2026.

Most asked

Is noise cancelling worth it on a gaming headset?

It is worth it when your room has steady noise you want to shut out: a fan, traffic, people in the next room. In this list only the Arctis Nova Pro Omni has it, and SteelSeries adds a transparency mode for when you need to hear the room. In a quiet room, the other four do the job without it.

Gaming headset or music headphones for gaming?

All five here bring a microphone and a 2.4 GHz wireless connection through a USB dongle or base. Music headphones usually rely on Bluetooth alone and have no boom mic, so you would add a separate microphone for voice chat.

How much battery life is enough?

At four hours of play a day, the makers' ratings work out to about 8 days on the G535 (33 h), 17 on the BlackShark V2 Pro (70 h), 20 on the Stealth 600 (80 h) and 75 on the Cloud Alpha Wireless (300 h). Each Nova Pro Omni battery covers about 7 days, and the second one charges in the base meanwhile.

If you want to cut the cable, wireless gaming headsets at every budget is the list for that. Streaming or recording? Read headset mic or USB mic before you pay for a better headset just for the mic, and our streaming microphones if the answer is a separate one. And if you play in a room where nobody else is around, speakers or a headset might change your mind; on console, the essential console accessories cover the rest.
\n
How we choose: no lab here, and we will not pretend otherwise. The list runs from a console-friendly entry pick to a premium model. Wired-only headsets stayed out because every pick here had to work without a cable.
